Teacher Appreciation Week
Dear Laurel Families,
I hope this message finds you well! Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5th through 9th and we are excited to honor the incredible educators at Little Laurels and Laurel Academy who make a lasting impact on our children’s lives. To make this week extra special, we are organizing themed days, and we would love your support on one or more days to make it all happen.
Each day of Teacher Appreciation Week will have a different theme, and we are asking for donations to help bring some of these ideas to life.
Monday – “Breakfast & Coffee Day”
Donations of $5+ to fund your teachers’ favorite Starbucks orders and a light breakfast. Admin will handle all the ordering, pickups, and setup of the foods and drinks.
Tuesday – “Catered Lunch Day”
Donations of $5+ to fund a fully catered hot lunch for staff. Admin will handle all the ordering, pickups, and setup for lunch.
Wednesday – "Flower Power" Day
Small potted plants, flowers, or handmade crafts that students can present to teachers.
Thursday – “Sweet Treat” Day
Bring in your teachers’ favorite snack or treat!
Friday – "Gift Card Frenzy" Day
This is a great day to get personal with a card and gift card for your teachers to their favorite places.
Participation is completely voluntary. Feel free to choose a couple of your favorite themes, or the entire week! If you are interested and able to contribute, please stop by the main office to donate with cash or check.
